The Market Development Manager is responsible for driving market expansion, influencer engagement, and brand visibility across assigned territories. This role involves leading a team, implementing market development strategies, managing on-ground activities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and masons to achieve business growth objectives.

- Oversee and drive market development activities across assigned regions and territories.
- Ensure alignment of regional initiatives with overall business and marketing objectives.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Area Market Development Managers and / or Market Development Executives.
- Monitor team performance, set goals, and ensure consistent achievement of market development targets.
- Influencer Engagement :
- Spearhead engagement activities such as promotional meets, naka meets, and van campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers to promote product adoption.
- Activity Effectiveness Analysis :
- Analyze the impact and effectiveness of influencer and promotional activities.
- Recommend and execute next steps to improve engagement outcomes and generate business growth.
- Retention and Growth of Masons / Contractors :
- Drive retention and growth of masons and contractors through loyalty programs and engagement initiatives.
- Achieve targets related to mason and contractor schemes.
- Re-engage inactive or zero-point users by encouraging product scanning and participation.
- Site Leads Management :
- Manage site leads and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
- Maintain a continuous pipeline of site demands for MYK Laticrete products.
- Relationship Building :
- Develop strong relationships with architects, large masons, contractors, and interior designers.
- Support the team in securing product approvals and site conversions.
- Branding Management :
- Manage branding vendors and ensure execution of branding and visibility initiatives as per market needs.
- Oversee implementation of on-ground brand promotion activities to enhance visibility.
- Strategic Approach :
- Provide insights and feedback to the team and management to capture new and existing market share.
- Contribute to the formulation of market development strategies and business planning.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).6–10 years of experience in market development, influencer engagement, or channel sales within the construction / building materials industry.Proven leadership experience in managing teams and on-ground activities.Strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and travel extensively as required.Skills Required
