Location : Fully Remote within India

Duration : 6-9 Months contract (with possible extension)

About the Role :

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Configurator / Tech Lead to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone with strong ServiceNow expertise who enjoys guiding teams while actively contributing to development work.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as the technical lead for all ServiceNow development activities within the India-based team.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to Configurators and developers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Conduct peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency in development work.
Actively work on user stories, configurations, and customizations within the ServiceNow platform.
Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices, standards, and governance.
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

Strong hands-on experience with at least three of the following ServiceNow modules :

o ITSM (IT Service Management)

o HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery)

o SPM (Service Portfolio Management)

o ITOM (IT Operations Management)

o GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)

Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of ServiceNow Configurators / Developers.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, design patterns, and configurations.

Experience with peer reviews, quality assurance, and solution governance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.

Ability to balance hands-on development work with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills :

Experience working in large-scale enterprise implementations.

Knowledge of integration with external systems using APIs.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
