The Platform Domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on providing and managing the foundational systems, services, and frameworks necessary for developing, deploying, and operating software applications and services. This domain encompasses activities related to setting up and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that supports various IT functions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Platforms Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will analyze, evaluate, and support our IT platforms to enhance system performance, ensure reliability, and meet the organization’s technological needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Platform Support : Assist in assessing existing IT platforms to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Help recommend solutions based on business needs and cost considerations.
Requirements Gathering : Support collaboration with stakeholders to gather business requirements and assist in translating them into basic technical specifications.
Performance Monitoring : Help monitor system performance and user feedback, analyzing data to provide insights and support for improvements.
Troubleshooting : Assist in diagnosing and resolving platform-related issues, collaborating with team members to implement corrective actions.
User Support : Provide basic technical support and training for end-users to help them effectively use platform applications.
Documentation : Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Project Support : Assist in the planning and execution of platform-related projects, helping ensure timelines are met.
Integration Support : Work with IT and other departments to support the integration of SaaS solutions with existing systems and workflows.
Continual Improvement : Identify opportunities for minor process improvements related to platform usage and management.
Training Support : Help develop training materials and participate in sessions to enhance end-user platform utilization.
Compliance Awareness : Assist in ensuring platforms comply with organizational policies and industry regulations, focusing on data security and privacy.
ALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS :
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Experience : 1+ years of experience in IT analysis or support, with some familiarity with relevant platforms.
Technical Skills : Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and an understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with specific platform support is a plus.
Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data sets.
Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Scripting Knowledge : Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
API Understanding : Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services for integrating applications.
Monitoring Tools Exposure : Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Grafana) is a plus.
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications :
Radio frequency / Radio Frequency Engineering, Server admin / Server monitoring
Experience with Platforms : Exposure to specific IT platforms relevant to the organization (e.g., ERP, CRM).
IT Service Management Awareness : Basic understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile methodologies.
Understanding of DevOps : Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
Relevant Certifications : Any certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Agile, AWS basics) are a plus.
Support for Service Management : Assist in managing IT service platforms, ensuring smooth operation.
