Job descriptionHustle! We're young, lean, and in our early days Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a best-in-class product Proficiency in Java / J2EE (Hibernate, Spring, MVC), Mysql, & rest services implementation Experience in developing web applications at a startup is a plus At least 10 years of experience in software engineering and at least 3 years of engineering management experience. You know what high-quality code and software engineering processes are and know how to foster an environment that creates them. Execution-focused with an ability to navigate ambiguity, with the ability to do both long-term thinking and short-term planning. Experience creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale. Proven track record of delivering projects that include multiple components from design through implementation and support Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews. Improve test coverage for services, organise and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas. Consider testability, monitoring, observability, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered. As a member of the core engineering leadership team, you will :
- Work with the founders in co-creating the product
- Build and scale a Product-Led Growth SaaS platform with global reach
- Define the engineering DNA at Osfin — processes, practices, and team culture
- Drive end-to-end ownership : from architecture and coding standards to release management, monitoring, and ongoing operations
