Role Overview :
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will drive market expansion and revenue growth across strategic verticals. You will be responsible for positioning and selling Netweb's product portfolio-Data Centre Solutions (Servers / Storage), Disaster Recovery (DC / DR), Workstations, and Enterprise IT Infrastructure-to enterprise accounts, government bodies, and research / educational institutions.
This role demands a mix of technical knowledge, consultative selling, and account management skills to build strong customer relationships, qualify opportunities, and close deals in highly competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow Netweb's footprint in assigned territories and verticals.
- Position and promote Netweb's portfolio across Servers, Storage, Workstations, HPC, AI / ML Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud (Private / Hybrid), and DC / DR solutions.
- Conduct solution presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative discussions with CXOs, IT heads, and decision-makers.
- Build strong customer relationships for account acquisition, retention, and growth, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and business terms to maximize profitability while delivering customer value.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and OEM partners to validate solutions and ensure successful deal closures.
- Track market intelligence, competitor activities, and technology trends to strategically position Netweb solutions.
- Represent Netweb at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to drive brand visibility and generate leads.
- Manage day-to-day sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : 7-8 years in enterprise sales / business development, with a strong track record in computer hardware, data center, or IT infrastructure solutions.Technical Knowledge : Proven ability to sell solutions in Servers, Storage, Networking, HPC, Cloud, Virtualization, and Enterprise Infrastructure.Sales Skills :
Expertise in lead generation, account hunting, and relationship management.Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.Prior success in large account acquisition and long-cycle enterprise deals.Communication : Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to influence CXO-level stakeholders.Languages : Fluency in English is mandatory; additional regional languages are a plus.(ref : iimjobs.com)
