Inviting applications for the role of [Management Trainee], [Payroll]

In this role, [The Payroll Specialist is part of a team responsible for processing US and Canadian payroll This includes, but not limited to, on-cycle pay processing, create / review / maintain process documentation and knowledgebase articles, train new Payroll team members, and be an escalation resource for Payroll Coordinators. Support Payroll Team with projects and process improvement initiatives.]

Responsibilities

• .Perform activities necessary in processing payroll for all employees in the US and Canada
• .Process termination / severance payments and signing bonuses
• .Process tax adjustments and refund payments
• .Calculate and pay ESL payments
• .Coordinate payroll audits / reviews to ensure accuracy of pay and identify potential errors
• .Provide time & labor support to HR Ops, managers, supervisors, and T&L users
• .Research and resolve payroll issues
• .Coordinate printing, packaging, and distribution of checks / advices
• .Complete bank activities such as pay card funding and NOC reports
• .Perform other duties as assigned
• .Shadow Leadership to enhance people management skills
• . Manage workload and work allocation
• . Maintain and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures as agreed with the client
• . Responsible on all day-to-day activities and people handling
• .Conduct payroll adjustments, process off-cycle payments, process voids & reissues, process terminations
• .Coordinate payroll audits / reviews to ensure accuracy of pay and identify potential errors
• .Process seasonal PTO, severance and relocation as assigned
• .Provide Time & Labor support to HR Operations, Managers, Supervisors and Time & Labor Users
• .Research and resolve payroll issues
• .Coordinate printing, packaging and distribution of checks / advices as assigned
• .Yearend Activities W2's, T4's etc.
