Senior Associate I (Project Manager), Research & Development Process & Product Design

Job descriptionPartner with Post-Production Leads to track against a master schedule to manage risk reviews and cascading documentation revisions to support compliance Reviews status of projects and budgets Manages schedules, and prepares status reports Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and alerts for when to escalate schedule delays, keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues Provide comprehensive tracking and monitoring for project team using project management expertise and software Integrate program specific requirements into relevant business systems Monitor and report project team activities against project plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope Use appropriate communication tools to ensure that all project customers are informed of project status Facilitate risk management of projects and escalation / mitigation of significant deviations Facilitate project team meetings with agendas, minutes, and action items Assure that project support activities of functional teams are aligned with the project plan Work with Finance and Functions to build budgets and monitor actual vs. expected spend Performance is measured by : project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget Project quality as measured bydegree of stakeholder satisfactionadherence to project oversight, e.g., governanceoperational excellence pertaining to quality of the project schedule
Minimum requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
- 5 years directly related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in distilling complex concepts into clear and concise presentations for diverse audience, including leadership.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project management and analytics experience
- Technology savviness to automate simple tasks for process improvement and cycle time reduction (e.g., data queries, data analyses, documentation)
- Proven ability to develop solutions for problems that require the regular use of creativity.
- Interacts with senior professionals on difficult matters.
- Encounters problems that are varied but similar. Requires some fact-finding to define problem. Selects the best option from a set of defined procedures or based on precedence.
- Degree in Science or Engineering, MS or MBA
- Experience in Medical Device orPharma
- PMP certificationpreferred
