About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead current account onboarding , our agent-led current account onboarding application and our web based DIY journey for current account opening. This role is responsible for driving the product roadmap, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, technology, and operations to deliver seamless onboarding experiences and strengthen process governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including roadmap planning, feature design, development, and post-launch enhancements.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, SDG and back-office teams to identify bottlenecks and drive reduction in FTNR (First Time Not Right) rates.
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations and internal KYC guidelines , covering document verification, GST / PAN linkage, and location-based onboarding conditions.
- Work closely with technology teams for requirement gathering, UAT, defect management, and timely release delivery.
- Track and report KPIs, adoption metrics, and compliance adherence to senior management.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance the customer onboarding journey and minimize operational leakages.
Required Skills & Experience
4–7 years of experience in product management within banking / fintech, with exposure to account onboarding or compliance-heavy products.Strong knowledge of KYC norms, AML checks, and digital onboarding workflows .Experience collaborating with business, compliance, and technology teams .Proficiency in creating PRDs, process flows, and user stories .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Educational Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Business, ORBachelor's degree in Engineering / Finance with relevant product management experience.Nice-to-Have
Experience in the MSME / SMB banking segment .Exposure to agent-led banking applications and digital transformation initiatives.About the Digital Business Unit at IndusInd :
