SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP) Consultant to join our retail transformation team. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in retail inventory optimization and planning, coupled with hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle AIP modules. This role is critical in ensuring that our inventory strategies align with business goals, driving efficiency, improving stock accuracy, and enhancing service levels across our retail operations. ________________________________________ Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle Retail Inventory Planning Optimization Cloud Service-Demand Forecasting (IPOCS).
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze inventory planning requirements.
- Translate business requirements into system functionality, including defining item / loc clustering, forecast parameters, and replenishment rules.
- Drive inventory optimization through effective use of demand forecasting, order planning, and inventory policies within AIP.
- Perform functional testing, defect tracking, and validation of planning solutions in AIP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure accurate data flow and integration between Oracle Retail modules (e.g., RMS, RPAS).
- Provide training and support to end-users on AIP functionality and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation such as functional specifications, configuration guides, and process flows.
- Monitor performance and assist in tuning the AIP application for maximum effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancement recommendations. ________________________________________ Professional & Technical Experience Technical Skills :
- Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP), Oracle Retail Inventory Planning Optimization Cloud Service-Demand Forecasting (IPOCS), including its planning methodologies (time-phased replenishment, service level planning, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Oracle Retail suite including RMS (Retail Merchandising System), RPAS (Retail Predictive Application Server), and integration points with AIP.
- Experience with data modeling, batch processing, and BI / reporting tools within the Oracle Retail ecosystem.
- Ability to work with relational databases (Oracle DB) and SQL for troubleshooting and reporting.
- Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle : requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Functional Skills :
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes in a retail environment.
- Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and improve planning outcomes.
- Experience working in Agile and / or Waterfall project environments. Soft Skills :

- Location : Onsite / Remote / Hybrid based on project requirements.
