General Manager – Quality

Location : Ahmedabad

Reports to : Operations Head / Business Head

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and lead the plant-wide quality control strategy to ensure compliance with product specifications international standards (ASTM ASME EN DIN) and customer requirements.
• Establish implement and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 PED IBR and other applicable certifications.
• Oversee quality inspection at all stages : raw materials in-process final product and dispatch.
• Supervise testing processes including Hydro Test Eddy Current Test Ultrasonic Test PMI (Positive Material Identification) Mechanical & Chemical Testing.
• Lead metallurgical and dimensional control to ensure strict adherence to customer specifications.
• Ensure zero defect delivery and quick resolution of customer complaints.
• Lead customer audits approvals and coordinate Third Party Inspections (TPI) including agencies like Lloyds TUV BVQI DNV etc.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
• Drive process control statistical quality control (SQC) and process audits to minimize variations and improve yield.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 OHSAS 18001 PED and other relevant certifications.
• Manage product traceability documentation and certification processes for all manufactured products.
