ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in our team

Responsibilities for this position are to provide technical guidance for fired equipment (fired heaters, boilers / HRSGs, flares, thermal oxidizers) design, operation, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring and reliability improvements across the global fleet for ExxonMobil businesses.  The location of this job is the ExxonMobil Bengaluru Technology Center in Bengaluru India.  This position may include domestic and international travel to support projects and producing / manufacturing facilities.

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance and perform thermal analysis for fired equipment
• Support design, operation, troubleshooting, optimization, monitoring and reliability improvements for fired equipment
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations
• Participate in Turnaround or Shut-down support at a site
