Evaluate and select design solutions to meet programme requirements, balancing technical and project perspectives.
Support LGS integration through system / sub-system interface document development.
Lead Landing Gear system / sub-system Qualification and Certification (Q&C) activities for future modifications / repairs, including planning, oversight, and evidence evaluation.
Define and oversee Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities, including physical tests and simulations for compliance verification.
Manage system / sub-system requirements and generate specifications for Main and Nose Gear, Wheel, Tyre, and Brake systems.
Control project timelines, ensuring delivery on schedule, within cost, and quality standards.
Provide support for legacy military systems, including addressing queries, defect reports, and operational occurrences.
Required Skills :
Basic knowledge of Aircraft System Qualification and Certification.
Strong process optimization, organizational, and planning skills.
Experience in project management and work package coordination.
Expertise in Landing Gear systems development and analysis.
Proficient in Verification & Validation, including lab and flight test analysis.
Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and test case creation.
Ability to manage and deliver large, complex projects.
Experience writing technical specifications at both equipment and system levels.
Expertise in software / systems engineering, particularly in Integration & Verification testing.
Aerospace (LG Systems) background with familiarity with standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO160, DO178, DO254, AFDX, ARINC 429).
Proficiency in tools like Catia V5, MSC ADAMS, MATLAB, Simulink, or IBM DOORS.
Experience with LGS Qualification activities and testing methodologies.
