Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead our Food Business across South India . The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales, distribution expansion, team management, and execution of trade marketing activities across key states — Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
- Expand distribution network across general trade, modern trade, and institutional channels.
- Identify and onboard new distributors and key accounts to increase market penetration.
- Drive availability, visibility, and market share for all food brands in the portfolio.
Team & Distributor Management :
Manage and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Officers, and Distributor Sales Representatives .Set clear targets and ensure performance tracking through regular reviews and market visits.Strengthen distributor relationships and ensure healthy ROI and secondary sales growth.Trade Marketing & Activation :
Work closely with the marketing team to roll out promotions and new product launches effectively.Monitor competition and suggest local marketing interventions to gain shelf dominance.Operations & Reporting :
Ensure timely order execution, stock management, and fill rate improvement.Monitor region-wise profitability and provide sales forecasts.Submit weekly / monthly MIS reports to the Head Office.Requirements :
Graduate with 8–12 years of FMCG sales experience , preferably in snacks, noodles, confectionery, or packaged foods .Proven track record of handling multi-state operations in South India.Strong network of distributors, super stockists, and modern trade partners.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Fluency in English and at least one South Indian language (Kannada / Tamil / Telugu).Willingness to travel extensively across the region.What We Offer :
