The company has about 60 employees and tutors. The company also has a wholly owned subsidiary company in USA.

Position Description

1.     This is a full-time office based position, location is HSR Layout Bangalore

2.     Full responsibility for company accounting function

3.     This position reports to the CEO

4.     Plenty of learning and growth opportunities

5.     Handling company accounts maintained in Tally

6.     Handling bank accounts and bank transactions, all online

7.     Handling staff payroll, benefits, expense reimbursements, and vendor payments, all online

8.     Handling TDS, company tax, professional tax and GST, may require IT, PT, GST tax office visits

9.     Staff investment and rent proof for TDS calculation, Form 16 / 16A, etc

10.  Maintain MIS data and create MIS reports in Excel as per management requirements

11.  Maintain Budgets and budget versus actual tracking

12.  Coordination with company auditors for audit and accounts

13.  Coordination with Company Secretary and Directors for Board Meetings and Board papers

14.  US company accounts, US tax filing coordination with US tax accounting firm

Qualifications and Candidate Requirements

1.     B Com graduate

2.     Minimum 3 years accounting experience in a reputed organization

3.     Good knowledge of Tally accounting system

4.     Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

5.     Good verbal and written English and communication skills

6.     Work location is HSR Layout Bangalore, candidate must be Bangalore based

7.     Full-time office based position, working hours Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm

8.     Must have reliable laptop, and power backup and internet connection at home

Salary and Benefits

Salary will depend on knowledge and experience, plus PF and Gratuity
