Infrastructure - Storage Engineer

( Candidate with Strong NetApp storage skills )

Key Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and maintain NetApp ONTAP storage systems (FAS, AFF, or hybrid arrays).

Perform storage provisioning, volume / LUN creation, exports, and shares (NFS, CIFS / SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).

Manage aggregates, snapshots, clones, and storage efficiency features (deduplication, compression, thin provisioning).

Monitor storage performance, capacity utilization, and health using NetApp OnCommand / Active IQ tools.

Implement and monitor backup / recovery strategies using Snap Mirror, Snap Vault

Implement Ransomware protection and Anti-Virus scanning on the Storage systems

Perform Ontap upgrades, Disk / Shelf / SP firmware upgrades

Automate provisioning and reporting tasks using PowerShell, Python, or NetApp APIs.

Storage logs forwarding and management with Splunk

Perform storage migrations and hardware tech refresh

Troubleshoot hardware / software issues with NetApp systems, escalating to vendors when needed

Work closely with server, virtualization, networking, and application teams to meet infrastructure needs.

5+ years of experience on Storage
