IT Infra Lead

We are hiring an

IT Infrastructure Lead

to oversee and manage our enterprise infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in

VMware virtualization, NetApp storage solutions, and Linux administration , along with skills to guide a team of infrastructure engineers. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining resilient IT systems that support business operations with maximum uptime, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure including

VMware, NetApp storage, and Linux environments .

Ensure

availability, performance, and scalability

of enterprise infrastructure systems.

Oversee daily operations, incident management, problem resolution, and change management.

Design and implement

backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans .

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure supports application and business needs.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure services procurement.

Implement and enforce

security, compliance, and governance standards .

Provide technical mentorship and leadership to a team of engineers.

Continuously assess and recommend

emerging technologies

to improve infrastructure efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years

of experience in IT Infrastructure management.

Strong expertise in :

VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter

(design, administration, and troubleshooting).

NetApp Storage Systems

(SAN / NAS, ONTAP, data replication, backup & recovery).

Linux Administration

(RedHat / Ubuntu / CentOS; scripting with Bash / Python preferred).

Knowledge of

networking concepts

(TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers).

Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Understanding of

ITIL processes

and enterprise IT best practices.

Experience in

leading infrastructure projects

and managing small to mid-sized teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications such as

VMware VCP ,

NetApp NCDA / NCIE ,

Linux (RHCE / LPIC)

are desirable.

ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
