We are seeking a Key Account Manager / Sr Key Account Manager to join our team, with a preferred location in Central / East India. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of overall experience, with a focus on industrial B2B sales. You will be responsible for driving key growth initiatives, managing sales for our solar business, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a 'can-do' attitude and a knack for structuring solutions in complex situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development : You'll be responsible for hunting and mining new customers for our solar business through product presentations and using various channels like digital media, seminars, and conferences. You will lead pre-sales and business development efforts to meet your targets.
- Customer & Sales Management : Conduct product demos, lead new product launches, and assess customer requirements to provide effective solutions. You'll also lead key Value-Selling initiatives to improve product volume growth and increase the share of wallet ( SOW ).
- Strategy & Planning : Deliver on sales, pricing, and payment collection for your territory. You will be responsible for consolidating full technical offers for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and ensuring your Sales Funnel is consistently updated.
- Collaboration & Communication : You will leverage SFDC as a key growth tool and collaborate with various functions, including service, supply chain, product management, and marketing, to drive business growth.
Required Qualifications
Education : A B.Tech degree with an MBA in Sales / Marketing from a premier institute is required.Experience : A minimum of 8-12 years of overall experience , including at least 8 years of commercial experience and 6 years of industrial B2B sales in allied sectors such as solar, instrumentation, or automation. You must also have 3-5 years of experience with a renowned CRM system like SFDC , Oracle, or SAP.Skills :Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in a matrix organization structure with multiple deliverables.Ability to structure a solution in uncertain situations and multitask in a fast-paced environment.A strong team player who can inspire a team for larger goals.A fast learner with a self-motivated, 'can-do' attitude.Skills Required
