Business Operations Manager
Role Overview
The Business Operations Manager (BOM) is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent business operations across all TWC cities and service categories.
This role acts as the bridge between city teams, central leadership, and department heads, ensuring that SOPs are implemented, resources are optimally used, and client experience and profitability targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of weddings team and service bookings across all cities, ensuring adherence to TWC standards and checklists.
- Ensure on-ground teams (sales, planners, coordinators, etc.) follow standardized event-day processes.
- Monitor active wedding pipelines in each city and identify bottlenecks in planning or delivery.
- Ensure each event’s post-event reports, vendor reconciliations, and client feedback forms are completed within 3 days of event completion.
2. Cross-City Coordination
Maintain weekly operations calls with city heads to review performance, event readiness, planner bandwidth, vendor performance.Ensure uniform processes, documentation, and quality benchmarks across all city operations.Standardize and track key metrics like event NPS, execution errors, and client escalations.3. Process and Efficiency
Work with leadership to improve internal SOPs, planner checklists, and event tracking systems.Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective processes or tools.Track cost-control measures and ensure profitability margins are maintained per event.4. Reporting and Escalation
Maintain Operations Dashboard summarizing all relevant operational metrics.Report with analysis and improvement recommendations.Key Skills and Competencies
5+ years of experience in business operations, preferably in event, hospitality, or service industries.Strong understanding of multi-city operational structures.Excellent process management, communication, and analytical skills.Excellent data analysis skillsProficient in using project management tools (Zoho projects preferred).Eye for quality and client satisfaction metrics.Ability to handle multiple stakeholders under pressure.About The Wedding Company
