Scope of Work
To oversee and implement the Foundation's LifeFirst Tobacco Cessation programme in Maharashtra
Type of Employment : Contractual
Location : Based in Mumbai but travel involves neighbouring districts around the Mumbai and Nashik regions
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of Tobacco Cessation Services in Maharashtra, focusing on the Mumbai and adjoining districts
- Coordinate with district, block health officials and community health workers across at Primary and Secondary Healthcare levels, to bring about smooth implementation of the project.
- Role involves deputation at DHS office, Mumbai to lead state-level liaison with officials, providing programmatic and administrative support to Senior Programme Officers, Joint Directors, and DHS
- Liaise with government functionaries at State, District, and Block levels to ensure smooth project operations
- Collaborate with district, block health officials and community health workers across at Primary and Secondary Healthcare levels, so as to bring about smooth implementation of the project.
- Partner with medical and dental institutions for training, workshops, and program rollout
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and communications, ensuring timely updates and compliance
- Travel extensively across assigned districts (approx. 10 days / month)
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners
Qualification and Experience
Education Qualifications mandatory for this job role : MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BAMS along with MPH / MHA, or MBA in Healthcare Management. Only candidates with these specific degrees need to apply.1–2 years' experience preferred (not mandatory)Competencies
