Role & Responsibilities : Procurement Lead
The Procurement Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and efficient acquisition of goods and services. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with various departments to meet business needs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order creation and vendor payment.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and sourcing needs.
- Implement and maintain procurement systems and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities and vendor staff.
- Manage risk in the supply chain by implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
