Senior Procurement Manager

Job Title : Manager / Sr. Manager – Procurement

Reporting to : CEO

Location : Mumbai

Job Role :

Procurement of Direct & Indirect Material (RM, PM, Engg. Goods, Spares, Consumables)

Key Responsibilities :

Managing procurement & Delivery of Raw material ( inks, solvents, masterbatch, additives, paper ), Packing Material, Engg. Items, Consumables as per the production plan aligning to organization requirement

New Vendor development & alternate vendor development to achieve targets and reduce costs.

Quotes analysis | Comparison creation | Making Shadow Costing for various PMs.

Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Monitoring supplier performance & reliability and addressing any issues or concerns and Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

Monthly reconciliation of Vendor's account statements.

Regular visits to domestic vendors facilities for audits and examinations.

Manage the RM / PM / engg. items Stock availability as per production plan

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements

Develop tendering process to build transparency in the procurement SOPs

Create and implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to meet business objectives in terms of price, quality and delivery targets

Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process.

Co-ordination with production, sales, quality, store & finance.

Mentoring & coaching to strengthen the team, identify gaps & coach accordingly

Education Qualifications, Experience, / Skills :

10-12 yrs of exp. In RM / PM / Engg. Procurement with negotiation skills, integrity, SOP building, team management knowledge & exp

Exp in paper procurement

B.E. / B.Tech Educational Background Preferred.
