We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Sourcing with strong expertise in the knitwear segment to join our team in Mumbai. The role requires someone who can lead end-to-end sourcing, build robust vendor networks, and drive efficiency in procurement while ensuring top-notch quality standards.
Industry Preferred : Retail, Apparel & Fashion
Location : Mumbai (Lower Parel)
What you’ll do :
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for knitwear categories
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct market research, and track industry trends
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing for maximum value
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships ensuring continuity of supply
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans
- Drive cost optimization and efficiency in procurement processes
- Travel to explore fabrics, vendor facilities, and production parameters
- Solve challenges in product development, quality, and production
