Zenith - Java Backend Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team focused on virtual care and remote patient monitoring applications. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement backend features that are secure, scalable, and performant. You will play a critical role in integrating APIs, maintaining application uptime, and ensuring robust security protocols to support healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement backend logic and services for healthcare applications that support virtual care and remote patient monitoring.
• Integrate and manage APIs to facilitate secure communication between distributed services.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Monitor application performance, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks or uptime issues.
• Implement and enforce security best practices using OAuth2, JWT, SSL / TLS protocols to protect sensitive healthcare data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, including frontend developers, QA, and product owners to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
