Senior Backend Developer - Java

Experience Required : 6+ Years

Technology Stack : Java, Spring Framework, AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), DevOps Tools, Observability Stack (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Java Spring expertise and a proven background in designing scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, working closely with clients, and contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and databases with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Define and maintain well-documented, versioned APIs for both internal and external consumption.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices and standards.
• Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and ensure long-term resolutions.
• Own and manage system observability using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for smooth deployments using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and related cloud infrastructure tools.
• Engage in on-call rotations to maintain high availability and provide rapid incident response.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, understanding and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and contribute to architectural improvements.
