Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our fitness center. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless experience for members by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-equipped facility while managing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Facility Maintenance :
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of gym equipment, ensuring all facilities are in top condition.
- Schedule and supervise regular cleaning and upkeep of the premises.
- Manage contracts and relationships with vendors and service providers.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure the fitness center adheres to health, safety, and building regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any potential hazards promptly.Operations Management :
Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.Monitor utilities and resources to optimize cost-effectiveness.Manage inventory of supplies, including gym equipment, cleaning materials, and other essentials.Team Leadership :
Supervise and guide facility staff, including cleaners, maintenance personnel, and contractors.Provide training to staff on safety protocols and operational procedures.Member Experience :
Collaborate with the front desk and management team to address member feedback or concerns related to the facility.Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all members and visitors.Budget Management :
Plan and manage the facility's maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Provide regular reports to management on operational costs and performance.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality industry.Strong understanding of maintenance, safety, and operational processes.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of health and safety regulations.Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office Suite.Strong leadership and communication skills.What We Offer :
