Job descriptionDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and maximize cost savings. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable agreements. Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, legal) to understand procurement needs and provide timely sourcing solutions. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and compliance. Monitor market trends, identify potential risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies. Manage procurement budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals. Utilize procurement software and ERP systems for efficient procurement operations. Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPSM, CIPS) is a plus. 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of procurement best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
