About the Role
As an Academic Counsellor at IIDE’s Lower Parel (West) campus, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through IIDE’s Digital Marketing programs across Undergraduate and Graduate categories. This role involves managing and converting leads while meeting enrollment, revenue, and collection targets. You will closely interact with prospective learners, ensuring a smooth and effective admissions experience.
What You’ll Do
○ Manage and convert leads for various digital marketing programs.
○ Own the complete sales and closing life cycle for assigned leads.
○ Achieve weekly enrollment, revenue, and collection targets.
○ Provide detailed information and counseling to prospective learners via phone, email, and chat.
○ Conduct interviews and coordinate admissions formalities for new joiners.
○ Attend walk-ins and counsel potential learners on admissions-related queries.
○ Follow up with prospective leads who have shown interest or visited IIDE.
○ Assist students in the fee collection process and ensure timely payments.
○ Coordinate with external vendors such as education loan providers to support the admissions process.
○ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless enrollment experience.
○ Maintain and improve sales conversion rates through consistent performance tracking.
○ Generate referral sales and reactivate old or lost applications to meet batch targets.
○ Maintain a revenue-driven mindset and continuously optimize sales strategies for existing product offerings.
Who You Are
○ 2–3 years of work experience in a similar admissions or academic counseling role.
○ Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
○ Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
○ Proven track record of achieving sales or admissions targets.
○ Strong numerical aptitude and ability to optimize sales strategies.
○ Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
○ Effective multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
○ Experience in the education or edtech sector.
○ Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools.
Expected Deliverables / KPIs
Meet weekly and monthly admissions targets.
Generate referral sales as per organizational goals.
Reactivate old / lost applications to ensure batch target achievement.
Continuously improve and maintain high sales conversion rates.
Requirements
Required Experience and Qualifications : 10 years of work experience in sales Must have managed a team of 30+ Excellent communication and management skills Deep understanding of conversion rates Strong sales orientation and customer focus Working knowledge of CRMs and Sales automation tools Must be proficient in MS-Office Great objection handling skills Expected KPIs Maintaining hygiene in lead funnel to arrive at desired sales Improving and maintaining sales conversion rates Monitoring calls and sales counselors’ productivity. Ensuring team productivity is at its highest to achieve monthly targets
