Traffic Tech Lead

Description :

The role involves leading efforts to optimize traffic flow, enhance system performance, and ensure scalable and secure network operations. It requires a deep understanding of networking, proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++ and Go, and experience with Kubernetes, cyber security, caching strategies, and Points of Presence (PoP) :

• Design and Develop Traffic Management Solutions : Leading the design, development, and maintenance of solutions to manage network traffic efficiently.
• Optimize Network Operations : Improve efficiency through enhanced caching strategies and PoP optimization.
• Develop High-Performance Applications : Utilize C / C++ and Go to create robust applications.
• Manage Scalability on Kubernetes : Deploy and oversee scalable systems.
• Cyber Security and Observability : Implement measures to protect network infrastructure and monitor system health.
• Collaborate and Mentor : Work with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions and guide junior engineers.
• Contribute to Open-Source and Patented Innovation : Lead projects and innovations to keep eBay at the forefront of technology.
