Responsibilities
- Complete tasks on time, within budget and quality standards set by the team lead
- Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions aligned with client and regulatory standards
- Ensure design outputs are checked and coordinated with other disciplines
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents
- Work both independently and within a team
- Follow Mott MacDonald's quality standard procedures
- Stay updated with trends and developments in traffic signalling engineering
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering or equivalentMember of a recognized institutionExperience & Skills (Essential) :
4+ years of post-graduate experience in traffic signals designKnowledge of UK Traffic Signals standards and guidanceExperience in traffic modelling softwareWorked on traffic signal projects as part of a teamFamiliarity with AutoCAD, KeySignalsPrepared traffic signal studies, reports, and timing plansStrong Microsoft Office skillsInterpersonal skills for team collaborationExperience with 3D design and BIM softwareDesirable :
