Responsibilities
- Manage large team of highly technical and talented electronic design engineers working on architecting, designing, prototyping and deploying functional ATE’s
- Develop all below deliverables for the product
- Electronic PCB designs
- Electronic wiring diagrams
- Mechanical design files
- Quality check lists
- Assembly instructions
- Manage product quality, cost and schedule of functional testing fixtures and ATE’s.
- Single point of contact for project escalations and issue resolution
- Travel to global locations to resolve issues and propose solutions to clients and contract manufacturing companies.
- Work with cross domain teams in the company – manufacturing, assembly, mechanical design, software.
Client responsibilities
Participate in regular calls with customer engineering teams to understand technical requirements of the product, clarify technical details, and convert to product specs for internal execution
Ensure engineering change requests (ECR) or design modifications are tracked, implemented, and communicated effectively to Alto teams.Lead design review meetings (architecture review) with the client and summarize actions for guiding the engineering teamLead weekly sync meetings with customer teams to align on progress, address blockers, and define next steps.Share weekly technical service critical risk relevant customer teams summarizing progress, open issues, and next steps.Provide timely responses to all technical queries from customerPrepare and circulate a concise one-pager highlighting key factory issues, risks, and mitigation actions to client teams as neededDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer-raised issues and ensure closure within the agreed timeline.Travel to contract manufacturing sites regularly to review technical issues, validate on-site progress, and ensure alignment on action plans.Drive experiments and action items provided by customers ensuring timely execution and feedback.Personality
