Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join AXA XL's Accounting Policy team. This role is critical in managing the accounting policy. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include

• Assist the Senior Manager in developing, reviewing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures across the company, including insurance, investment, lease, intangible assets and real estate accounting areas.
• Support the implementation and adherence to IFRS accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Participate in internal control activities, including quarterly reviews, to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuarial, investment, and real estate teams, to ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
• Prepare and support documentation for audit and regulatory reviews.
• Monitor and analyze changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the company's activities.

You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.
