Job Summary :

The Junior Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

The role involves troubleshooting network issues, assisting in configuration of Cisco switching and routing devices, and collaborating with senior engineers on network administration and optimization tasks.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure management.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Assist in configuration and maintenance of Cisco Catalyst switches and routers.
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and connectivity to ensure seamless operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and service interruptions.
• Support Layer 2 / 3 networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high network availability and security.
• Maintain and update network documentation for configurations and change management.
• Provide support for system administration and infrastructure maintenance as required.
• Work in coordination with senior engineers during system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
