About Role - We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to drive talent acquisition for our foreign university’s campuses in India. This role will focus on hiring A+ talent, leveraging a strong understanding of the education landscape and networks across institutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building a high-performing workforce that embodies our university’s values and fuels its growth and success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Talent Acquisition Strategy : Partner with hiring managers, business heads, and university leadership to understand workforce needs and design effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Sourcing & Talent Pipeline : Leverage multiple sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, academic networks, and talent pools) to identify and engage high-quality candidates. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive talent for current and future roles.
• Candidate Experience : Drive an engaging and seamless recruitment journey from first interaction to onboarding, ensuring candidates experience professionalism and transparency at every stage.
• Employer Branding & Job Design : Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling job descriptions and promote openings through relevant channels, strengthening the employer brand in the education and EdTech sectors.
• Data-Driven Recruitment : Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Governance : Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with employment laws, UGC guidelines, and organizational policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment documentation.
• Stakeholder Partnership : Work closely with people managers and leadership to support the people agenda—fostering collaboration, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Market Intelligence : Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and best practices to position the organization competitively in the talent market.
