Role Summary :
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager (B2B) to join our team. The role is primarily focused on identifying potential markets, driving sales and service to customers, and strategizing to maximize market penetration. The successful candidate will play a key role in the creation of strong segment networks, monitoring and developing partners, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market Identification and Penetration :
- Identify potential markets and sales cum service clusters for effective market penetration.
- Develop strategies to achieve maximum market penetration through selected clusters.
- Segment Network Creation :
- Build a strong segment network by appointing potential distributors.
- Ensure projected segment network expansion in the respective territory.
- Monitoring and Development of Partners :
- Monitor and develop segment partners to ensure timely delivery of specific application-based products.
- Ensure achievement of MOU targets with each segment partner.
- Collaboration with Builders, Vendors, and Contractors :
- Collaborate with builders, vendors, and contractors to acquire project leads.
- Coordinate the proposal of favorable BOQs to convert leads into orders.
- Business Development and Lead Generation :
- Visit new segments and customers for generating business leads.
- Identify potential key accounts and industries for business development.
- Achievement of Sales Targets :
- Achieve assigned ROI targets and initiate cold calls to find prospects within the assigned territory.
- Convert leads in a timely and profitable manner.
- Customized Solutions for Customer Needs :
- Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions as per sales cum service applications.
- Deliver need-based solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Activities on Key Accounts :
- Perform sales activities on assigned key accounts, including presentations, business proposals, generating quotations, and negotiating sales prices and discounts per company policy.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
Qualifications : - Education :
- UG : Any Graduate
- PG : Any Postgraduate (preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development)
- Experience :
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly within the industrial equipment / machinery industry.
- Proven track record of identifying markets, generating leads, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
