Job descriptionQuality Testing : Conducting various types of testing (functional, regression, performance, etc) on software or applications to identify defects, bugs, or inconsistencies Test Planning and Execution : Developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage across different scenarios Defect Reporting : Documenting and reporting identified issues, defects, or inconsistencies to developers or relevant stakeholders for resolution Quality Standards Compliance : Ensuring adherence to quality standards, industry best practices, and compliance requirements during the development life cycle Collaboration : Working closely with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues and improve software quality Automation : Implementing test automation strategies using tools to increase efficiency, coverage, and accuracy in testing processes Qualifications and Skills : Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies Familiarity with testing tools (such as Selenium, JIRA, HP Quality Center, etc) and proficiency in using them for test execution and management Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate issues in software or applications Strong communication skills to effectively convey defects and testing results to developers and stakeholders
