NJ Mutual Fund is an asset management company (AMC), sponsored by NJ India Invest Private Limited, that offers mutual fund schemes to retail and institutional investors. The AMC was established in 2021 and is built on a highly distinctive and disciplined investment philosophy.

Core Investment Philosophy : Rule-Based Investing (Factor Investing)

NJ Mutual Fund's strategy centers on a Rule-Based Investment approach, also known as Factor Investing, which aims to eliminate emotional biases from the decision-making process.

Data-Driven Decisions :

Investment strategies are derived from a comprehensive, data-driven system. This involves meticulous collection, cleaning, and processing of company fundamentals, market indicators, and pricing data.

Systematic Approach :

Investment models, built using various factor parameters (like quality, value, low volatility, and momentum), are rigorously back-tested on historical data to ensure robustness and consistency under diverse market conditions.

Profile Summary :

The Regional Manager (RM) for Mumbai region will be a key leader responsible for driving the business growth of NJ Mutual Fund and PMS products across the designated region. This strategic role involves a dual-focus : (1) leveraging the existing NJ Wealth Network and (2) significantly expanding the external channel by recruiting new Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and Channel Sales Advisors.

The RM will lead a team of Unit Managers to achieve aggressive net sales and Assets Under Management (AUM) growth targets, develop robust sales strategies, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

A. Sales & Business Development (Driving Revenue)

Target Achievement : Achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual net sales and AUM growth targets for the Mumbai region.

Channel Management (Dual Focus) :

Drive Mutual Fund and PMS sales across the region through the existing NJ Wealth Network Partners.

Recruit, onboard, and generate business from new external IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors) and Channel Sales Advisors.

Strategy & Execution : Develop, strategize, and implement region-specific sales plans that are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Market Intelligence : Track market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and continually enhance sales strategies.

B. Team Leadership & Development

Leadership & Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of Unit Managers to ensure performance excellence and capability development.

Performance Review : Conduct regular sales reviews to monitor progress and implement corrective actions.

C. Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

Relationship Management : Build, manage, and nurture strong, lasting relationships with both internal stakeholders and external distribution partners / IFAs.

Education & Awareness : Organize and conduct partner meetings, training sessions, and investor awareness programs to strengthen product knowledge (especially on Factor / Rule-based Investment philosophy) and sales effectiveness.

D. Compliance & Governance

Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards in every sales and distribution activity.

Eligibility :

Any Masters’ graduate with minimum 10 yrs of experience in sales of Mutual Funds / PMS and handling the team of IFAs / Channel Sales is preferred.
