Job Title : Finance & Accounts Manager - Plant

Role Overview :
The Finance & Accounts Manager - Plant will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and control activities for the manufacturing plant. The role requires a proactive professional with strong analytical, operational, and statutory knowledge who can partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations at the plant level.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Accounting & Reporting :
- Oversee inventory management, fixed asset management, capitalization, and control over CAPEX .
- Ensure accurate book closing, GL scrutiny , and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) monitoring, aging analysis, and related MIS.
- Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and manage treasury-related functions .
Taxation & Compliance :
Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-2, and other GST returns accurately and on time.Manage quarterly TDS returns , statutory payments (TDS, TCS, GST, PF, PT, ESIC, etc.), and related documentation.Support internal, statutory, tax, transfer pricing, and GST audits .Secretarial & Legal Compliance :
Handle all secretarial compliances such as AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-12, ADT-1, MGT-8, DPT-3, AOC-2, MSME & MBP-1 filings, etc.Maintain statutory registers and ensure event-based compliance under company law.Coordinate and conduct Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings , including recording of minutes and preparation of directors' reports.Support legal documentation processes for vendor, customer, and NDA agreements.Manage other statutory filings such as POSH returns, Maternity Benefit filings, EPR returns, and FLA submissions .Internal Control & Collaboration :
Ensure internal control over financial reporting and adherence to company policies.Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, and business managers to understand business challenges and support decision-making.Perform any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.Qualifications & Skills :
Education : PG / UG Commerce with 2-7 Years Post qualification experience.Experience : 2-7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing setup.Technical Skills :Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint .
Working knowledge of ERP systems SAP experience preferred .Behavioral Skills :Strong work ethics and integrity.
