Position Summary :
The Director - Compensation & Benefits (C&B) will lead the design, management, and delivery of competitive programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent, while balancing both individual contribution and people leadership. In this role, the individual will also drive alignment of compensation and benefits strategy with larger business goals, focusing on cost optimization, margin improvement, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Compensation (IC Focus) :
- Design, implement, and manage compensation structures, salary ranges, and pay frameworks across geographies.
- Lead annual compensation planning processes (merit, bonus, promotions, equity).
- Conduct market benchmarking, pay competitiveness analysis, and compensation surveys to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance on complex compensation cases (offers, retention packages, pay equity).
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to align compensation practices with business strategy.
- Develop executive and board-level materials to support C&B strategy and outcomes.
Benefits :
Oversee design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit programs (healthcare, retirement, insurance, wellness, etc.).Evaluate benefit vendors and negotiate cost-effective, high-value employee offerings.People Management :
Lead, coach, and develop a small team of C&B professionals to deliver high-quality operational support.Provide mentoring and career development opportunities.Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Qualifications & Experience :
8 to 10 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior advisory role.Strong expertise in global compensation frameworks, incentive design, and benefits management.Proven experience with market benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Radford).Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; proficiency in Excel and HR analytics tools.Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.Prior experience in a multinational environment is highly preferred.Drive global consistency while adapting programs to local market and regulatory needs.Monitor benefit utilization and ROI; recommend enhancements based on employee feedback and data insights.Key Competencies :
