About the Role
We’re building India’s (and the world’s) most advanced Deposit Refund System (DRS) — a technology-driven circular economy model where every package counts. As the Product Manager for Collection Systems, you’ll own the end-to-end product experience across all collection touchpoints — from reverse vending machines and manual collection points to logistics and central processing centers.
You’ll design and deliver digital and operational systems that enable secure collection, traceability, and settlement of refundable deposits, ensuring the entire ecosystem — brands, distributors, retailers, customers, and recyclers — stays connected and transparent.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership : Build and manage the collection product stack — from field collection interfaces to the warehouse accounting layer.
- Ecosystem Design : Define and digitize processes for different types of collection points (human-operated, unmanned, automated) to ensure accountability and traceability.
- Reverse Logistics Enablement : Design workflows for bag tagging, pickup scheduling, transit validation, and handover at the Central Processing Center (CPC).
- Warehouse & Material Accounting : Collaborate with the CPC operations team to build systems for weight / count reconciliation, material segregation, and bale-level tracking.
- Data & Escrow Reconciliation : Work closely with the finance and technology teams to ensure every collected unit maps back to a verified QR and corresponding escrow release.
- Product Design & Development : Translate operational needs into scalable product requirements. Drive product sprints with engineering, hardware integration, and analytics teams.
- Stakeholder Coordination : Align internal teams (ops, logistics, tech, finance) and external partners (RVM providers, recyclers, logistics partners) on system design and rollout.
- Performance Metrics : Define and track KPIs — collection efficiency, shrinkage rate, bag integrity, processing accuracy, and turnaround time from collection to refund.
What You’ll Work On
Mobile / web interfaces for collection points and field staff.System for bag-level chain-of-custody tracking and QR validation.Integration with logistics partners and CPC weighing systems.Dashboards for collection analytics and escrow reconciliation.Material accounting workflows from CPC to recycler.Qualifications & Experience
2-3 years of product management / Data analysis experience in reverse logistics, warehousing, supply chain tech, or circular economy systems.Strong understanding of operational workflows — from field collection to central processing.Experience designing digital systems that track physical movement of goods or materials.Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external vendors.Comfort with data — using analytics to drive operational visibility and product decisions.Bonus : Exposure to IoT devices, weighing systems, or QR-based traceability.Who You Are
Systems thinker who can simplify complex physical workflows into clean digital products.Comfortable operating in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.Deeply motivated by environmental impact and circular economy innovation.Strong communicator who can balance field practicality with product vision. Why This Role Matters
You’ll be defining the blueprint for how the world’s most progressive DRS works — building trust, accountability, and transparency across every step of the material recovery chain. This isn’t just product management; it’s system design for sustainability at scale.
