Grow Indigo, a leading Agri-Tech venture dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture, is seeking a results-driven Territory Business Manager with 58 years of experience in the agri input industry.
The ideal candidate will be a local expert with in-depth knowledge of the Sonipat and Yamunanagar markets.
This role is crucial for driving the adoption of our innovative biological products by leveraging strong relationships within the local channel network and a deep understanding of regional cropping patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Leadership : Serve as the key business leader for the assigned territory, responsible for sales, growth, and market penetration of our biological product portfolio.
- Channel Development : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and farmers within the local market network to ensure effective product availability and sales.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies based on a thorough understanding of local market dynamics and competition.
- Customer Engagement : Engage directly with farmers and channel partners to demonstrate the value of our biological products in enhancing soil health and crop yield.
- Technical Expertise : Apply knowledge of local cropping patterns and agricultural practices to provide technical recommendations and solutions to farmers and channel partners.
- Business Planning : Plan and forecast sales targets and activities to align with overall departmental goals, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
- Market Intelligence : Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging trends to inform regional business Skills & Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in the agri input industry.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc / M.Sc Agriculture) or an MBA is preferred.
- Mandatory knowledge of the local market in Sonipat and Yamunanagar, including a deep understanding of the local market network and channel relationships.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the distribution and sales channel.
- A comprehensive understanding of regional cropping patterns and farming practices.
