Key responsibilities include preparing and cleaning jewellery, ensuring quality standards, working with a high degree of attention to detail, and adhering to health and safety procedures to protect both themselves and delicate, high-value items.

Key Responsibilities

Polishing and Cleaning : Use polishing wheels, buffs, brushes, and compounds to pre-polish and give a final, high-lustre finish to jewellery pieces.

Ultrasonic Cleaning : Clean jewellery using ultrasonic cleaners and steamers.

Inspection : Inspect jewellery for flaws, damage, or scratches before and after polishing and cleaning.

Quality Control : Ensure each piece meets the company's quality and finish standards before being passed on to the next stage.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance : Perform basic maintenance on polishing and cleaning equipment and keep the workstation clean and organized.

Collaboration : Work closely with jewellers, setters, and quality control teams to ensure a smooth workflow.

Safety : Adhere to health, safety, and security procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and operating machinery.
