Responsibilities
Design Conceptualization : Develop original concepts for jewellery, from rings and necklaces to bracelets and earrings.
Sketching and Rendering : Create detailed sketches by hand or use CAD software to produce 2D and 3D models of designs.
Material Selection : Choose suitable precious metals (gold, silver) and gemstones (diamonds, rubies, emeralds) based on design and client needs.
Prototyping : Create physical samples or prototypes to visualize the final design and assess its feasibility.
Production Oversight : Work with jewellers and craftsmen to guide the manufacturing process, ensuring quality and durability.
Client Collaboration : Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences for custom-made jewellery.
Trend Research : Stay updated on the latest jewellery design trends, materials, and techniques.
