Information Technology Engineer

Job Purpose :

To manage and support all IT-related operations of the School of Branding & Advertising, including technical oversight of the computer lab, studio equipment, and digital assets, ensuring smooth execution of academic and creative projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide daily technical support to faculty, staff, and students in the computer lab environment.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers and operating systems, including iMacs and other specialized equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
• Assist in the setup, calibration, and upkeep of studio equipment such as DSLR cameras, lighting systems, sound equipment, and other A / V tools.
• Offer on-ground support during studio-based academic and creative activities, including product photography, video recordings, and ad film shoots.
• Maintain a well-documented inventory of all IT and studio assets.
• Manage the secure issuance, tracking, and return of equipment such as cameras, accessories, and lab tools.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and accountability for equipment usage.
• Coordinate the scheduling, availability, and smooth functioning of the computer lab, currently operating over 44 hours per week.
• Organize regular maintenance, software updates, and performance checks of lab and studio systems.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient working environment within the lab and studio facilities.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration for planning and upgrading technical infrastructure based on evolving academic needs.
