Job Title : International Business Development Manager – Europe
Location : Hyderabad, India / Remote (Europe Travel Required)
Reports To : CEO / Head of Strategy
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic International Business Development professional to lead our client's expansion into European markets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving international sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong networks and experience in the European chemical / pharma sector, and a track record in managing cross-border deals.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Expansion
- Research and analyze European markets, identifying growth opportunities and regulatory requirements.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for products and services in Europe.
- Provide insights on competitive landscape, pricing, and market trends.
Business Development & Partnerships
Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential distributors, clients, and partners in Europe.Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, manufacturing, legal) to ensure smooth product registration and compliance in target markets.Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive international sales pipelines and achieve revenue targets for European markets.Prepare sales proposals, agreements, and contracts in line with company policy.Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to leadership.Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure products meet European standards (e.g., REACH, GMP, CE marking where applicable).Ensure all business activities comply with international trade laws and export regulations.Representation & Branding
Represent client at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences in Europe.Promote the company’s brand and capabilities in alignment with corporate strategy.Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in international business development, sales, or partnerships within the pharmaceutical or chemical sector, preferably Europe-focused.Strong network with distributors, regulatory consultants, and industry stakeholders in Europe.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Knowledge of European regulations for chemicals / pharma products (REACH, GMP, etc.) is highly desirable.Ability to travel internationally and manage cross-cultural business relationships.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.What We Offer
