About the Role :

The Bank Onboarding Specialist will coordinate end-to-end onboarding of Client's customer bank accounts onto the Client's platform, from account opening (where required) to successful API connectivity.

The role demands close collaboration with customers, bank relationship teams, and internal stakeholders to manage documentation, ensure process compliance, and deliver a frictionless experience. You’ll also help standardize bank onboarding workflows, maintain documentation repositories, and build domain expertise around banking integrations and compliance

requirements.

Here's what you'll be diving into :

  • Act as the primary liaison between Client's customers and partner banks for onboarding and connectivity.
  • Facilitate bank account opening for customers who are new to a partner bank, coordinating end-to-end with bank teams and guiding customers through required documentation and forms.
  • Manage the complete process of connecting customer bank accounts to Client's including both connected banking and bespoke connectivity integrations.
  • Review, interpret, and explain banking documents such as KYC Documents, integration forms, board resolutions, and connectivity requests to customers.
  • Assist customers with SSL certificate procurement and setup, including coordination with Certificate Authorities (CAs).
  • Track and manage changes to bank documentation or processes;

maintain standardized templates and updated process guides across all banking partners.

  • Collaborate with Client's Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to streamline the onboarding flow and identify automation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of partner bank processes, integration models, and approval timelines.
  • Ensure timely progress tracking, issue resolution, and go-live for each onboarding.
  • We're looking for someone who :

  • 2–3 years of experience in banking operations, corporate banking onboarding or API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of banking documentation, KYC processes, and payment integration workflows.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and explaining technical terms (e.G., SSL certificates, API credentials) to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and able to interface confidently with both banks and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and documentation rigor.
  • Familiarity with corporate banking products (payments, virtual accounts, reconciliation) is a plus.
  • Exposure to fintech integrations or API banking ecosystems (e.G., Axis Bank, HDFC, ICICI, Yes Bank, etc.) will be an added advantage.
