Job descriptionMD / DNB in Internal Medicine followed by DM / DNB in Medical Oncology from a recognized institution. Valid registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council. 5+ years in Medical Oncology practice. Proficiency in managing chemotherapy protocols and systemic therapies. Strong clinical acumen, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and high-volume clinical environment. Objectives of this role
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with various types of cancers.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
- Supervise and administer systemic therapies safely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialistsfor multidisciplinary patient care.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.
- Participate in tumor boards, case discussions, and clinical review meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records as per institutional and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to awareness, screening, and research initiatives undertaken by the institution.
- Train, mentor, and support junior doctors, nurses, and staff involved in oncology care.
