Occupational Safety Specialist

Ensuring workplace safety is a top priority. We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. Key qualifications include a background in occupational health and safety, as well as the ability to obtain relevant certifications such as EM385 and OSHA within 90 days of hire.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enforcing environmental health and safety (ESH) programs, developing and implementing safety protocols that exceed regulatory compliance standards. Responsibilities include :

• Enforcing standardized ESH programs and conducting risk assessments
• Evaluating work sites for compliance with regulations including EM 385-1-1, USACE Safety & Health, and OSHA CFR 1926
• Preparing technical reports and communicating effectively with management and subcontractors

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The selected candidate will be required to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may be asked to work overtime as needed.
