The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and overseeing payroll administration for teaching and non-teaching staff. The role ensures that the school attracts competent talent, maintains accurate employee data, and processes salaries in a timely and compliant manner.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing requirements.
- Prepare and post job advertisements through various channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and schedule final interviews.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment orders, and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain updated employee records and joining documentation.
- Conduct orientation programs for new staff.
- Maintain attendance, leave, and overtime data for all employees.
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) and maintain related records.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for salary disbursement.
- Handle queries related to salary, deductions, or payslips.
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and HR database.
- Support in preparation of HR reports and MIS.
- Handle confirmation, increment, and relieving processes.
- Support in conducting employee engagement activities.
- Ensure adherence to school HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll data.
Desired Profile
Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR / Business Administration.Experience : 3–8 years of experience in recruitment and payrollStrong knowledge of HR and payroll processes.Familiarity with HRMS or payroll software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.Immediate Joiners PreferredJob Types : Full-time, Permanent
