Role Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Education Support Officer to join our team at St Joseph's Kingswood. This is a part-time, permanent position, working 27.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

This role is commencing as soon as possible!

About You :

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of St Joseph's School and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life;
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and provide both welcome and assistance to all students, families, staff and visitors;
• Ability to use initiative to support and engage students with their learning, while actively supporting their social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Ability to work under the direction of and collaboratively with the Inclusive Education coordinator, teachers and other Support Officers to support successful learning and wellbeing outcomes;
• Nurture a positive culture for wellbeing and inclusivity;
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing development as a lifelong learner and a reflective practitioner.
• A Certificate III in Education Support is preferred - other certification or experience would be considered.
