JOB DESCRIPTION
As Asst Manager FEMA compliance role you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of the FEMA and related forex exchange law, RBI guidelines. In this role you will be providing monthly / fortnightly update to Finance Management at EPMI on the current status of FEMA compliances and measures taken / required to be taken to ensure conformity with the said law. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks, including collaborating with cross functions and business unit. A detail-oriented role with a endeavor and clear mandate on ensuring compliance with Forex laws.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
Ensuring correctness of payment transactions for upload, resolution of discrepancies and upload
Co-ordination with various external and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with FEMA regulation for Payment and Receivable related transactions
Overall FEMA tracking for EPMI legacy entity
Driving compliance of FEMA at entity and EPMI BU level along with bankers and other stakeholders
Preparation of data and report for discussion with WA and Regulatory
Setting up routine process for timely clearance of FEMA payables and receivables
Other Support for Statutory / Group Audit
Support in monthly closing activities
Support on various ad hoc reviews and report at India / WA
Who You Are :
You accurately track all compliances across imports, exports, MTT, etc under the Foreign exchange law prevalent in India.
You ensure timely action for resolution of FEMA issues, update to Management and expedite any long standing pending FEMA compliances.
You coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders including functional team and BU teams for ensuring the timely FEMA compliances
You effectively coordinate with internal Finance teams across BUs for entity level control and visibility of these compliances
You should be able to communicate with working groups at bank , GFS, BU or Entity and functional teams and also escalate the issues in hierarchy if issues not resolved.
For This Role, You Will Need :
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Inter CA with min 3-5 years of experience in Forex laws and FEMA.
High Adaptability to manage complex compliance issues .
Advance Excel Skills
Strong and effective Communication skills
Understanding of ERP (Oracle)andMSOffice software like MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in highly demanding matrix organization with complex process, systems and tools
Strong and effective Communication skills
Coordinate with external stakeholders including Customers / Banks
Effective communication with Management Stakeholders for progress, concerns and reviews
Organisation skill to handle large volume of data
Great teammate who buildsandmaintains positiveteam memberrelations.
Able tomanageandschedulemultipleprioritiesandmeetdeadlines. .
Key relationships : BU teams
Collaborate with BU team for key documentation and process improvement required for FEMA compliances.
Functional teams - Purchase, Logistics, etc :
Request support for documentation and process improvements, timely payment.
Finance teams across BU and Entity
Management reports for current status, measures to be taken and way forward for compliance in FEMA.
Global Teams :
Collaborate on various unresolved issues and communicate and implement effective solutions.
